Here’s a FREE compilation of unreleased material and songs from my friend, Lorax. All of which were compiled from other people’s albums and created over a span of 6 years. This dude is a truly amazing artist and I’m honored to be featured on a track… don’t sleep on this!

from urbnet.com:
For their debut release, global-spanning, loosely organized group Done keep it short, sweet and socially relevant. How to Own a Shadow opens with a slick intro that takes advantage of a slamming beat and a couple of great vocal samples from The Happening: “It seems like things have got more sensitive now,” Mark Walberg is heard to say. From there it’s a bunch of sensitive guy raps that serve as political and social moral tales. The bulk of the lyrics are handled by id obelus, the Star City, Indiana emcee with a very recognizable nasal flow, although he does get occasional assistance here and there from S.L.A.P., an emcee from Bad Kreuznach, Germany who raps in German, and Nomar Slevik, who is more locally located in Freepoint, Maine. Slevik also sings the chorus on many songs and provides the dark production alongside Marcelo Martins of Alto Paraiso, Brazil. It’s great that technology can make something like this possible, but it would have been great to have more interaction between the individual artists. Regardless, it all ends up fairly cohesive and creative. And I’m sure their next release will be a much tighter group effort. [Thomas Quinlan]

Check out these ill remixes by my good friend Whois Louis. Dude’s an insanely talented MC /producer and the first voice you hear on the jabberbox ‘this is intro’:

Kruxify asked me to join him on a rewrite of this classic Atmosphere track. I don’t usually do this sort of thing but, it’s such a great song. We interpreted the hook and put our own spin on it. Enjoy!
